Avoid junk food – Living on junk food will make you have junk hair. Why? Because for the time you will be ill, your body will be diverting energy from you hair and nails in order to facilitate the healing process elsewhere.

Get a hair cut every 6 – 8 weeks – Having a hair cut every 6-8 weeks will help avoid split ends. And it will also enable the barber/hairdresser, etc. to alert you about any sudden change in the hair condition.

Use hair conditioner in the proper way – How will you do it? Simple. Leave conditioner in your hair for at least 2-3 minutes. Many people wash off the conditioner straight away after using it. And the conditioner does not get enough time to do its job.

Use a rake-type comb – Using a rake-type comb is the best option. Start combing at the bottom by dividing your hair into sections. And work upwards from there. Avoid using brush on a wet hair. This is because wet hair is very pliable and easily breakable.
